Dan-yr-ogof national showcaves: Voted Britain’s Finest Natural Wonder a visit to Dan-yr-Ogof is a magical experience for people of all ages.

The Gower peninsular is the UK’s first area of outstanding natural beauty and celebrates its 50th anniversary in May 2006. It has over 80 sq miles of spectacular coast and countryside with Worms Head, reputedly, the 7th most photographed sunset in the world.

Neath: Explore the archaeological and natural history of Neath at the museum and wander around this lovely market town, the birthplace and home of our very own Katherine Jenkins. Visit St David’s church where Katherine sang in the choir.

Mumbles: The welsh home of Catherine Zeta Jones, a visit to this picturesque fishing village is a must.

Afan forest park has mountain biking to suit all the family, from recreational rides to world championship courses. Bike hire is available.

Cefn-yr-erw primate sanctuary is a wonderful day out for all the family. Set in the Brecon beacons national park, Cefn yr erw is home to many rescued animals, but it is the owners dedication to rescuing primates which will inspire any visitor to this truly memorable attraction.

Aberdulais falls: A magnificent waterfall and home to Europe’s largest electricity generating water wheel

Neath Canal: take a leisurely boat trip along the restored lengths of the canal through several locks in the glorious upper Neath valley.

Gnoll country park: A delightful country park based on an 18th century landscaped garden. Close to Neath town centre it features lakes, cascades, adventure playground, childrens play area and visitor centre.

Margam country park: Set in 1000 acres of parkland , the park boasts narrow gauge railway, walks, childrens’ adventure playground, fairytale village, fishing, visitor centre with restaurant, 18th century orangery and the best collection of deer in Wales.

Cefn coed museum: fascinating display of coal mining tools and equipment housed in original mine building
